The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koistinen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tero takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Tero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koistinen on the ground.

Koistinen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tero sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Koistinen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tero is trying to control Koistinen's posture but Koistinen avoids it.
