Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Coalman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Delmar Descheck! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Descheck swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Coalman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coalman showed some decent athleticism there. Descheck wants to control but Coalman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Coalman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Descheck keeps working. Coalman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Descheck pushes Coalman off looking to stand but Coalman dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coalman sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Descheck defending well though. Descheck tries to roll over but Coalman keeps him under control. Coalman winds up and cracks Descheck with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Coalman looking to pass the half guard. Descheck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Descheck defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Coalman. Descheck lands with an uppercut that bounces Coalman off the cage and back into rage. Nice shot by Descheck. Descheck is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Coalman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coalman, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
