Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Ibanz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Ibanz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ibanz shoots in for a takedown but Fernandes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fernandes misses with an uppercut. Ibanz saw that one coming.
Fernandes stalks Ibanz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ibanz's face. Ibanz staggers backwards, shaken.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Fernandes has eaten all the pies!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ibanz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ibanz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fernandes looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fernandes looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fernandes!
