Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between chris burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Eliot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). burns comes to the cage accompanied by lets get ready to rumble. Thomas Eliot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, chris burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Eliot! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! burns throws a right and a left that both miss. burns fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Eliot, pushing him back against the cage. burns breaks from the clinch.
Eliot shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Eliot showed some decent athleticism there. burns is trying to get back to full guard. burns gets full guard. burns is wriggling around but Eliot manages to pass to half guard.
burns wants to get back to his feet.
burns strikes from the bottom but Eliot passes into mount!
burns is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. burns regains half guard. Eliot looks gassed! Eliot prevents burns from improving his position. burns pushes Eliot off but Eliot dives into side control.
burns is trying to improve his position. burns is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Eliot off and has taken his back! burns is working the ground and pound. Can Eliot escape? burns throwing strikes and Eliot squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted. burns looking to finish with strikes here!
burns with shots to the head and body - Eliot looks very uncomfortable down there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. burns landing strikes, looking to finish! Eliot tries to get back to half guard but can't. burns has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, burns cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Eliot bucks up and throws burns to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Eliot lands a nice leg kick that just misses burns's sensitive parts. A left and a right from Eliot both land. Nice combination.
burns is rocked!
It looks like chris burns has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! burns tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Oh burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! burns throws a body punch but Eliot moves out of range. burns seems to have got his legs back now. burns lands with a nice body punch. burns rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Eliot moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Eliot throws a head kick that misses. burns ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. burns closes this distance looking for a takedown but Eliot circles away. burns connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Eliot! He's out on his feet! burns rushes in and drops Eliot with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). chris burns!
