Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wazz Dakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monkey Luffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wazz Dakka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Monkey Luffy! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luffy misses with a two punch combination.
Dakka fails to land the takedown. Luffy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dakka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Luffy throws out the jab. Luffy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Luffy connects with a body shot that sends Dakka's belly button to the back. A slow jab from Luffy misses its intended target. Luffy misses with a series of wild punches.
Dakka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Luffy. No joy for Dakka on that attempt. Monkey Luffy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dakka is defended easily by Luffy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wazz Dakka. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fighters circling - Luffy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Luffy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dakka circles away quickly and effectively. Luffy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dakka.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Luffy stuffs the takedown attempt from Dakka. Dakka gets slowly back to his feet. Dakka moves out of range as Luffy strikes. Luffy throws a body punch but Dakka moves out of range. Luffy stuns Dakka with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Dakka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Luffy stuffs the takedown attempt from Dakka. Dakka gets slowly back to his feet. Luffy throws a looping overhand right but Dakka ducks down to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good exchange - Luffy coming out on top. Dakka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luffy avoids it really well and circles away. Luffy lands a jab to the nose. Good shot there by Luffy. Luffy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dakka.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dakka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Luffy misses with a looping right. Dakka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Luffy throws out the jab. Luffy misses with an uppercut. Dakka saw that one coming. Dakka gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Luffy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Luffy stopping the sweep attempt from Dakka. Dakka isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Luffy stacks Dakka on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Luffy! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monkey Luffy dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dakka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Luffy lands a jab to the head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dakka. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A momentary lapse in concentration from Luffy enables Dakka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luffy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dakka passes into half guard. Luffy wants to improve his position but Dakka is controlling well.
Luffy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dakka is nestled in close to Luffy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luffy looking for submissions off his back. Luffy won't allow Dakka to pass to mount. Luffy is looking to improve his position.
Dakka seems to be working for a kimura but Luffy defends the submission attempt. Dakka works his way into full mount! Dakka punishing his opponent with strikes. Dakka wants to control the pace but Luffy is squirming around nicely. Dakka wants to finish this one by submission but Luffy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dakka.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Luffy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Luffyis looking to pass into half guard but Dakka pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dakka is in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dakka looking to pass the guard. Luffy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dakka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dakka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Luffy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dakka has managed to get both his arms back between Luffy's legs - danger averted. Luffy is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Luffy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dakka trying to control the position from guard on top but Luffy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dakka slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dakka thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dakka working the ground and pound. Dakka works to advance to full mount. Luffy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Dakka with a couple of short strikes. Dakka looking to finish Luffy with some ground and pound. This is bad for Luffy! This has been an exciting period of action! Luffy is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dakka moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Luffy has worked his arm free - good work by Luffy!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dakka tries to advance to mount but Luffy denies him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dakka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Luffy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Luffy tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Dakka easily slips into full mount! Luffy is desperately trying to improve his position but Dakka has a good base and remains in mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dakka landing strikes, looking to finish! Dakka working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Luffy is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wazz Dakka dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Dakka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luffy pinned against the cage. Luffy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Luffy throws the left hand but Dakka avoids the punch easily. Luffy throws a jab when Dakka was well out of range. Luffy might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Luffy thuds his right hand into Dakka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Luffy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dakka.
Luffy stuffs the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dakka with a lazy takedown attempt so Luffy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wazz Dakka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dakka keeping moving, preventing Luffy from controlling successfully. Dakka wants to sweep here but Luffy controlling him for the moment. Luffy passes Dakka's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dakka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Luffy is working away from the top position though. Luffy is trying to control the action in half guard but Dakka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Wazz Dakka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Luffy is looking for a kimura here.
Dakka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dakka is trying to control but can't.
This has been an exciting period of action! Luffy is just content to waste time from the top position. Dakka takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Luffy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dakka looking to hit a scissor sweep but Luffy is one step ahead there. Dakka wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Dakka has his foot on Luffy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Luffy works his way back into a safe position though. Luffy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Luffy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dakka is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dakka has escaped and now he's on top! Dakka looking to sit in guard and control but Luffy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dakka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Luffy. Luffy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dakka works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Luffy throws a strike but Dakka rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Luffy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Luffy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dakka advances position into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Monkey Luffy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Luffy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
