PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayn Lazovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Jacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lazovich comes into the arena with Madonna - Frozen blaring out of the sound system. Jacks has chosen Written in The Stars as his entrance music. Desmond Jacks is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lazovich as he avoids it easily.

Lazovich had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jacks defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Dwayn Lazovich will probably get the nod.

Lazovich is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jacks pulls his head out easily.

Lazovich is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jacks is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We're going to have a standup here because Dwayn Lazovich wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Lazovich takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lazovich defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jacks.
Lazovich tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jacks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jacks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lazovich pinned against the cage. Lazovich gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jacks shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lazovich's guard.
