Kawajiri shoots and misses
and Nakamura counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nakamura slips nicely into half guard.
Nakamura looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Kawajiri is trying to escape the mount but Nakamura keeps good control and instead manages to take Kawajiri's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Nakamura controlling the positon.
Nakamura seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kawajiri for as long as he can get away with.

Nakamura has the hooks in. Kawajiri is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Nakamura has got one arm under Kawajiri's chin. This could be trouble... Kawajiri trying to control the other hand but Nakamura gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kawajiri has tapped out! The fight is over!
