Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valenko tries to clinch up.
Archibald gets a takedown into half guard.
Valenko wants to improve his position but Archibald is controlling well.
Archibald is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Valenko is defending against the submission attempts here by Archibald.
Valenko controlling the position for now.
Valenko manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Valenko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Archibald counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Archibald.
Archibald wants to pass the guard but Valenko is keeping the position.
Archibald is looking to work some ground and pound but Valenko has wrist control.

Valenko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Archibald stops Valenko from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Archibald throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Archibald slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Archibald tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Valenko wants to get up but he can't break Archibald's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Archibald is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Archibald is breathing heavily.
Archibald tries to pass the half guard into mount. Valenko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Valenko gets full guard.
Valenko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Archibald is wriggling around trying to escape.
Archibald sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Valenko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Archibald does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Archibald is looking to control Valenko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Archibald avoid being mounted?
Valenko tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Archibald.
Valenko prevents Archibald from improving his position.
Archibald has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Valenko is working away from the top position though.
Archibald has hold of Valenko's hands but Valenko slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Archibald is trying to get back to full guard.
Valenko wants to free his trapped foot but Archibald is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Archibald shoots for a takedown but Valenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Valenko has closed the distance and engaged Archibald in a clinch.
Archibald gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Archibald is trying for a kimura here. Valenko looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Archibald wins by kimura!
