Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pola displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from StPierre.
Pola drops StPierre with a beautiful combination! StPierre stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pola is looking for the KO!
StPierre is rocked!
It looks like Geeorges StPierre has been cut.
StPierre slips a jab and a cross from Pola.
StPierre is still on wobbly legs! Can Pola finish him?
StPierre fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pola misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pola throws a hook but StPierre blocks it.
StPierre shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pola as he jumps to the side.
Po Pola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geeorges StPierre.
StPierre is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pola sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
StPierre seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
StPierre tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pola swivels and escapes.
StPierre decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
StPierre is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Pola is staying active underneath StPierre, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Let's hope that StPierre has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Pola on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pola tries to get out of the position.
Geeorges StPierre has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
StPierre shoots in looking for a takedown. Pola tries to sprawl out of it but StPierre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pola manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pola throws a combination but it was largely blocked by StPierre.

StPierre avoids a punch combination nicely.
StPierre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pola tries to avoid it but StPierre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pola to the ground. Pola escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pola lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as StPierre backs up against the cage.
Pola stuffs the takedown attempt from StPierre. StPierre gets slowly back to his feet.
Pola throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
StPierre looks gassed!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from StPierre.
Pola feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits StPierres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Pola counters with a crisp one two that drops StPierre! Pola thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves StPierre to his feet! StPierre is in big trouble!

Pola connects with a combination that backs up StPierre into the cage. Pola lands a flurry of punches that gets past StPierre's guard. StPierre is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Pola bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
