Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Acho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Anker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anker has chosen Down Under as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pete Anker!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acho scores with a shot to the body.
Acho throws a series of strikes that have Anker backpedaling.
Acho loads up on a big right hand but Anker slips the punch.
Acho throws a lazy uppercut
and Anker counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Anker wants to pass to mount but Acho is defending the position.
Acho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anker on the ground.
Acho wants to improve his position but Anker is controlling well.
Anker uses his free foot to push down on Acho's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Acho.
Acho has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Anker has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Acho has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Anker is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Acho is tapping out! This one is all over!
