The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaspar throws the left hand but Sung il avoids the punch easily.
Gaspar lands with a nice body punch.
Gaspar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sung il lands a head kick. Gaspar smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Gaspar cracks a nice hook into Sung il's ribs.
Sung il blocks a leg kick.
Sung il misses with a head kick.
Gaspar misses with a few strikes there.
Sung il misses with a head kick.
Sung il tries a head kick but it misses.
Sung il uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gaspar.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sung il throws a sloppy head kick and Gaspar moves out of range easily.

Sung il plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Sung il looks gassed!
Gaspar connects with a nice looking jab.
Sung il is still on wobbly legs! Can Gaspar finish him?
Gaspar swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sung il counters with a slapping leg kick.

Gaspar ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sung il seems to have recovered his senses.
Gaspar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sung il uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gaspar.
Sung il moves forwards but Gaspar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gaspar throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Sung il's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Gaspar dives in looking to finish as Sung il flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Gaspar's strikes! Gaspar is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Sung il's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Sung il was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
