The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx throws a head kick but Roberts moves out of range.
Roberts lands a big head kick that sends Marx tumbling to the mat! Roberts takes a step backwards and waves Marx back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Bruno Marx has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Decent striking displayed by Roberts there.
Marx looks gassed!
Roberts lands a big uppercut and Marx crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Marx looks OK. Roberts waves Marx back to his feet!
Marx is rocked!
Roberts scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marx doesn't seem bothered though.
Marx is still on wobbly legs! Can Roberts finish him?
Roberts dances in with a quick combination. Marx is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Roberts snaps Marx's head back. Marx stumbles backwards against the cage. Roberts steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Marx's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Marx just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ramses Roberts!
