Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Tretow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trang Troc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tretow comes into the arena with Days of Thunder blaring out of the sound system. Troc has chosen Like a Surgeon as his entrance music. Trang Troc has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dennis Tretow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trang Troc!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tretow gets the takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tretow postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
You can see the frustration on Troc's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tretow staying calm.
Troc is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Troc is trying to control Tretow's posture but Tretow avoids it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Trang Troc hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Tretow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Troc avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Troc tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Troc getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tretow.
Troc forces Tretow back against the cage and clinches.
Troc crunches a lovely knee into Tretow's ribcage.
Troc prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Tretow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Troc putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Tretow in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Troc lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Tretow struggles to land a body shot inside as Troc controls his hands.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Troc lands an elbow that stopped Tretow in his tracks for a moment.
Troc lands with a short shot to the head.
Troc is stalling here.
Troc tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
With the fighters up against the cage, Troc throws an elbow but misses.
Tretow is trying to break the clinch but Troc is controlling him.
Tretow jumps guard but Troc stands there with Tretow around his waist. Tretow gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Troc lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Troc will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tretow up against the cage.
Tretow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Troc is trying to maintain a safe position but Tretow gets an underhook and turns Troc into the cage.
Tretow avoiding damage as Troc throws knees to the body.
Tretow turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Troc stops Tretow from passing to mount.
Troc tries to get back to half guard but can't.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Troc can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trang Troc dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tretow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Troc sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tretow somewhat.
Tretow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Troc tries to avoid it but Tretow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Troc to the ground. Troc escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dennis Tretow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tretow slips under a jab from Troc.
Troc swings for the body but Tretow moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Troc connects with a jab.
Tretow fails with a takedown attempt.

Tretow walks into a stiff left hand from Troc.
Troc misses with a wild body shot.
Tretow takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tretow takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tretow slips under a jab from Troc.
Tretow rushes Troc and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tretow is working for takedown but Troc is calmly controlling the position for now.
Troc scores with a knee to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Troc looking to slow down the pace here.

Tretow tries to score a body lock takedown but Troc shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Come on Troc - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Tretow tries to pull guard but Troc holds him up against the cage and eventually Tretow drops back down to his feet.
Tretow can't find room to land a body shot as Troc controls the action.
Tretow wants a takedown.
Tretow fails to pull guard.
Troc keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tretow's efforts to push away.
Trang Troc seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Troc.
Tretow's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Troc is pressed up against the cage. Tretow has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Troc down to the mat. Troc avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Troc steps in with a hook that catches Tretow right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Troc follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Tretow looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trang Troc!
