Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hart might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to headstrong. Hart has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jared Hart has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jared Hart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jim Duggan! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duggan scores with a jab to the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. The fight stays on the outside here - Duggan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Duggan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Jim Duggan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duggan connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Jared Hart has been cut. Hart misses with a double jab
and Duggan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hart is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan looks for a takedown but Hart sprawls well. Duggan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hart.

and Duggan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hart swats away the attempt to clinch by Duggan. Hart's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Duggan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hart scrambles back to his feet. A punch lands to the side of Hart 's head but he takes it in his stride. Hart takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Duggan finds it's way through Hart's defenses. Duggan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hart is rocked! Hart throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Duggan counters with a right hand to the body. Duggan lands a jab to Hart's midsection. Hart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hart misses with a double jab
and Duggan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Well, if Duggan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like Duggan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Let's hope that Duggan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Duggan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jared Hart's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Duggan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Duggan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hart takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Oh Hart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jared Hart's cut is getting worse. Hart throws a combination that misses and Hart takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Duggan tries to close the distance and clinch but Hart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hart seems to have got his legs back now. Jim Duggan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hart takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Duggan scores with a jab to the body. Duggan thuds a left hand into Hart's body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Duggan wants to clinch up but Hart keeps it at a distance. Oh, that's a big right hand from Duggan and Hart goes tumbling to the canvas! Duggan follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Duggan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hart avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Duggan. Duggan is figuring out what he wants to do next. Duggan working the head and body with strikes. Duggan working over Hart with some ground and pound. Hart looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Duggan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duggan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hart defending well though. Duggan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Duggan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Duggan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hart defending well though. Duggan controlling the action here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hart blocking the ground and pound attempt from Duggan. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Duggan is taking a breather. Hart says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jim Duggan wasn't active enough on the ground. Duggan thuds his right hand into Hart's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Duggan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jared Hart's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Duggan cracks a nice hook into Hart's ribs. Duggan scores with a punch to the head. Duggan scores with a jab. Duggan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hart looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hart taking a bit of punishment here - Duggan scoring with strikes. Duggan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Duggan cracks Hart with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Duggan immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hart is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Duggan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Duggan!
