Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kutchek Gore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Sakazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kutchek Gore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryo Sakazaki! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gore swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sakazaki counters with a nice body kick. A head kick from Sakazaki lands but Gore takes it in his stride. Gore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sloppy strikes from Gore. Those never looked like landing. Sakazaki scores with a leg kick.
Sakazaki lands a front kick. Sakazaki scores with a head kick. Gore tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sakazaki is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Sakazaki is trying to maintain a safe position but Gore gets an underhook and turns Sakazaki into the cage. Gore misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sakazaki is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Gore is keeping busy. Sakazaki is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gore is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sakazaki to the mat. Sakazaki regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gore pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sakazaki is keeping the position for now. Gore loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gore working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gore controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sakazaki is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gore is controlling him. Gore tries to free his leg and advance position but Sakazaki is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sakazaki wants to stand up but Gore is controlling him. Gore is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Kutchek Gore just wasn't active enough. Sakazaki closes the distance looking to clinch and Gore decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sakazaki's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gore missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gore throwing strikes from guard but Sakazaki blocks nicely. Gore lands a couple of digs. Gore pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sakazaki is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gore's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gore postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gore working some strikes from top position. Gore throwing strikes but missing. Gore sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gore postures up in Sakazaki's guard and throws a big left but Sakazaki blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sakazaki wants to get back to his feet but Gore is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gore has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gore throws a big right hand that misses. Gore is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Gore looking to pass the guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gore won't allow Sakazaki to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kutchek Gore dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gore throws a right and a left that both miss. Gore drives through with a takedown into Sakazaki's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kutchek Gore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sakazaki is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Sakazaki taking a breather. Gore lands a right hand. Sakazaki tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gore avoids it. Gore lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Gore. Gore working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Gore throws a big uppercut that drops Sakazaki! More strikes from Gore and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sakazaki lies dazed against the cage as Gore celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kutchek Gore!
