Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vernon Randleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Turk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Vernon Randleman! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Randleman. Turk ducks under a wild hook from Randleman. Randleman tries to clinch and Turk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Randleman won't be happy with that. Turk in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Turk could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Randleman tries to bench press Turk off him but Turk keeps the position. Randleman pushes Turk away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Turk gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Turk creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Turk landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Turk scores with punches from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turk working the ground and pound from side control. Turk is chipping away with strikes.

Turk creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Turk tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Turk has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Randleman taking a bit of punishment here - Turk scoring with strikes. Turk working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Turk cracks Randleman with an elbow. That is naaassty. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Randleman tries to buck Turk off but Turk is having none of it. Turk looks up at the clock and then as Randleman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Turk smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Turk is putting a hurting on Randleman here, landing some big shots from side control.
Randleman is rocked! Turk lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Randleman down.
Randleman is still in real trouble! Can Turk finish him? A big shot lands for Turk! That's hurt Randleman! Will he recover? Turk fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Turk!
