The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corvina throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Noteboom sees it coming and avoids it easily.
De Noteboom moves to clinch but Corvina breaks away
and Corvina counters with a two punch combo.
Corvina is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Noteboom.
Banica Corvina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with De Noteboom in particular looking to stall.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
De Noteboom working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

De Noteboom is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Corvina can't fight it off and eventually De Noteboom manages to take the fight to the floor. Corvina looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

De Noteboom's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
