Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy The Crocodile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Trombone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy The Crocodile!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rusty Trombone!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trombone lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Trombone cracks The Crocodile with an open hand slap.
Trombone goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Trombone - that will leave a mark!
A slow jab from The Crocodile misses its intended target.
Trombone comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The Crocodile throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A combination from The Crocodile does no damage.
The Crocodile digs a good hook to Trombone's body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Trombone wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Crocodile keeps working.

The Crocodile takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
You can see the frustration on The Crocodile's face as Trombone controls the position.

Trombone is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and The Crocodile reverses the position - he's now on top in Trombone's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The Crocodile connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The Crocodile lands a nice looking kick to the body. Trombone takes a step back to recover.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Trombone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jimmy The Crocodile is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trombone, as that shot connected.
Trombone is still on wobbly legs! Can The Crocodile finish him?

The Crocodile connects with a leg kick. Trombone looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The Crocodile slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

The Crocodile is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Trombone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Trombone throws the left hand but The Crocodile avoids the punch easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! The Crocodile's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The Crocodile feints with a jab and clips Trombone right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Trombone is sent crashing into the canvas and The Crocodile leaps in for the kill! Trombone tries to get to his feet but The Crocodile is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Trombone is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy The Crocodile!
