Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to clinch there but Lesnar circles away.

so Lesnar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lesnar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Anderson is trying to keep Lesnar in close.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anderson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet.
Lesnar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anderson.
Lesnar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lesnar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard.

Lesnar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lesnar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jason Lesnar.
Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lesnar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat.
