Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Escobedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruffin Farley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobedo comes to the cage accompanied by TURN MY SWAG ON. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobedo has managed to clinch.

Now he's in top in Escobedo's guard. Escobedo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That was a close second round but I would say that David Escobedo will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Escobedo is thwarting Farley's attempts to control the position. Escobedo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Farley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Farley manages to get to full guard.

A looping hook to the body misses from Escobedo. Farley does a little dance to reset his feet. Farley moves out of range of the strikes. Escobedo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Escobedo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Escobedo trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Farley is squirming around, avoiding Escobedo's attempts to control the action. Escobedo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Farley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Farley tries to get back to half guard but can't. Farley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Farley sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Escobedo wants to take a breather but Farley is having none of it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Escobedo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Farley keeping full guard, as Escobedo tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Farley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Farley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Escobedo manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! David Escobedo showed his dominance in that final round. Well Escobedo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
