And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitterer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Kyle Mitterer has been cut.
Pavlik fails to land with a series of punches.
Pavlik rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mitterer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mitterer misses with a body punch
and Pavlik counters by moving into the clinch.
Mitterer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Pavlik.
Mitterer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pavlik manages to avoid it.
Mitterer tries to keep at a distance but Pavlik has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pavlik is pressed up against the cage. Mitterer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pavlik down to the mat. Pavlik avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mitterer throws a nice looking combination but Pavlik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ingo Pavlik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pavlik closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Pavlik tries to clinch but Mitterer moves out of range.

Pavlik tries to close the distance and clinch but Mitterer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pavlik has taken the fight to the clinch.

Pavlik lands with a left to the head.
That has opened up Kyle Mitterer's cut even more.

Pavlik lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pavlik.

A decent looking cross lands there for Pavlik.
Mitterer is rocked!
Pavlik cracks Mitterer with a hook to the temple - Mitterer is on wobbly legs here! Pavlik swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Mitterer falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Pavlik wins by TKO!
