The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lesnar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reptlem swivels and escapes. Sergio Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lesnar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reptlem sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reptlem slaps away a takedown attempt from Lesnar, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Reptlem sprawls well. Lesnar thows a left - swing and a miss! Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt. Reptlem looks for a takedown but Lesnar sprawls well. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Reptlem with a lazy takedown attempt and Lesnar counters with a single leg into guard. Reptlem didn't expect that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reptlem keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reptlem wants to sweep but no luck. Lesnar stands and throws Reptlem's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lesnar wants to control but Reptlem is keeping him busy. Lesnar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reptlem knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Lesnar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Reptlem has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lesnar is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lesnar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Reptlem's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar wants to take a breather but Reptlem is having none of it. Reptlem is looking to control Lesnar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reptlem avoid being mounted? Lesnar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Reptlem looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lesnar is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Reptlem as he works his way to full guard.
Reptlem is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lesnar advances to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck for Lesnar with that takedown attempt. Reptlem tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lesnar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reptlem somewhat. Lesnar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reptlem manages to get back to half guard. Lesnar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reptlem keeps working. Reptlem is looking for a sweep. Lesnar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar lands with a punch from half guard. Lesnar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Reptlem defending well though. Lesnar is keen to just control but Reptlem is a slippery customer. Lesnar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Reptlem tries to get to full guard but Lesnar has control of the leg. Lesnar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Reptlem has managed to free his arm - good work. Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lesnar is working for a kimura but Reptlem is defending it quite comfortably.
Lesnar winds up and cracks Reptlem with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reptlem is concentrating on defense, preventing Lesnar from advancing position. Sergio Lesnar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lesnar working over Reptlem with some ground and pound. Reptlem looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lesnar throwing shots but Reptlem is blocking nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lesnar passes to side control. Reptlem is not content to let Lesnar control the position. Reptlem manages to get back to half guard.

Lesnar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reptlem is keeping the position for now. Lesnar trying to control but Reptlem is working from the bottom. Reptlem wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lesnar postures up in Reptlem's guard and throws a big left but Reptlem blocks it. Lesnar works over Reptlem with some ground and pound from guard. Lesnar wants to control from the top but Reptlem keeps moving.

Reptlem must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lesnar wants to sweep but no luck. Lesnar is working hard here to advance position. Lesnar is trying to control the position but Reptlem postures up. Reptlem works over Lesnar with some ground and pound from guard. Lesnar keeping moving, preventing Reptlem from controlling successfully. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lesnar trying to keep a closed guard but Reptlem is proving a slippery customer.

Lesnar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lesnar preventing the sweep. Reptlem looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Reptlem wants to sweep here but Lesnar controlling him for the moment. Reptlem is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Reptlem keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully. Lesnar distracts Reptlem with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sergio Lesnar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reptlem defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lesnar. Reptlem fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lesnar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reptlem manages to avoid it. Reptlem fails with the takedown and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lesnar sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Reptlem is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar controlling from the top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sergio Lesnar. Lesnar dives in and grabs Reptlem's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reptlem pushes down on Lesnar's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reptlem needs to keep his hands up - Lesnar had a free shot at his head there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar shoots in but no luck this time. Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt - Reptlem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Reptlem closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lesnar to the mat! Lesnar manages to get full guard. Lesnar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reptlem is one step ahead there. Lesnar is pulling down on Reptlem's head. It's preventing any offense from Reptlem, at least for the moment. Lesnar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Sergio Lesnar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lesnar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
