Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sherlok Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes comes to the ring accompanied by Since I've Been Loving You. Sherlok Holmes had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holmes.
Hunt slips a straight right by Holmes.
Holmes lands a slapping body shot.
Holmes scores with a decent looking hook.
Holmes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Holmes lands with an uppercut that bounces Hunt off the ropes and back into rage.

Hunt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holmes swivels and escapes.

Holmes perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

and Holmes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Holmes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Holmes connects with a nice looking jab.
Hunt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Holmes is fending him off so far but Hunt persists. Nope, Holmes circles away and we're back to standing.

Hunt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Hunt tries to lock up and control but Holmes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Holmes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Holmes tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hunt's elbow.

Hunt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
