Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Miller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson dives in and scores a takedown into Miller's guard.

Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Miller had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.
Johnson wanted to stand there but Miller had control of the position.
Miller doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Johnson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Miller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Johnson, into his guard.
Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.

Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.
