And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarver scores with a nice right hand.
Tarver tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ramos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tarver somewhat.
Tarver swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tarver cracks Ramos with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tarver falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ramos counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ramos has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tarver is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ramos yanks on the arm and Tarver is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ramos.
