Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronny Ho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hamir Rolofzki! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ho gets a takedown into half guard. Ho wants to take a breather but Rolofzki is having none of it. Ho wants to work for an arm triangle but Rolofzki is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ho is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rolofzki defends it well. Rolofzki wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rolofzki is defending against the submission attempts here by Ho.
Well, if Ho is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Ho uses his free foot to push down on Rolofzki's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rolofzki. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rolofzki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ho has hold of Rolofzki's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rolofzki manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ho can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rolofzki is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ho throwing strikes here but Rolofzki is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Rolofzki regains half guard. Rolofzki looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ho is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ho is keen to just control but Rolofzki is a slippery customer. Rolofzki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ho pulls his head out easily. Rolofzki trying to get back to full guard but Ho takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Ho trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronny Ho dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rolofzki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ho throws out the jab. Rolofzki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ho was covering up waiting for the punch and Rolofzki finishes the takedown easily into guard. Rolofzki won't allow Ho to sweep him here. Ho looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rolofzki is aware though and is defending well. Rolofzki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ho working for a triangle but Rolofzki defends it easily.
Ho keeping moving, preventing Rolofzki from controlling successfully. Rolofzki is working Ho over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Ho looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rolofzki passes into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ho stops Rolofzki from passing to mount. Rolofzki stands up and we're back to a striking position. Rolofzki is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rolofzki looks to land a body kick but Ho moved away. Ho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rolofzki shoots for a takedown but Ho saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ho connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rolofzki momentarily.
Rolofzki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ho tries to avoid it but Rolofzki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ho to the ground. Ho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ho misses with a body kick. Rolofzki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rolofzki tries for a takedown but Ho sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ronny Ho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamir Rolofzki. Rolofzki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ho. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rolofzki. Ho wants to clinch. Ho takes a swing at Rolofzki's ribcage but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ho throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rolofzki counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Ronny Ho has been cut. Rolofzki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ho to the mat! Ho manages to get full guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rolofzki passes Ho's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ho moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ronny Ho overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ho keeping moving, preventing Rolofzki from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ho trying to control the position.

Hamir Rolofzki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ronny Ho's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Rolofzki is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A punch combination from Rolofzki misses. Rolofzki misses with a double jab.
Hamir Rolofzki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rolofzki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ho pinned against the cage. Ho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rolofzki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ho checks a leg kick. Ho looks to score with a jab to the body but Rolofzki is just out of range. Rolofzki tries to clinch but Ho is having none of it. Rolofzki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ho, pushing him back against the cage. Rolofzki looking to slow down the pace here. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Rolofzki jumps guard and drags Ho to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Ho tries to free his leg and advance position but Rolofzki is retaining full guard. Rolofzki looking for a sweep. Not yet Rolofzki, not yet. Ho sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rolofzki's guard. Rolofzki wants to get back to full guard but Ho has passed into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Rolofzki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ho tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ho has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rolofzki wants to control but Ho postures up. Rolofzki is trying to buck Ho off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ho wants to control but Rolofzki is keeping him busy. Rolofzki struggling a bit here. Ho cracks Rolofzki with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ho trying to control the position but Rolofzki is working away. Ho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rolofzki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ho trying to control the position but Rolofzki is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ho thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ho is trying to get an arm triangle but Rolofzki is defending well. Ho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rolofzki keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! Ronny Ho showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ho has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
