Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renaldo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ride Of The Valkyries kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dan Bradley will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renaldo Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Bradley! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradley shoots in looking for a takedown but Diaz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bradley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Diaz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. You can see the frustration on Bradley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Diaz working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley parries the strikes from Diaz easily there. Diaz is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bradley to escape.
Bradley struggling a bit here. Bradley is not content to let Diaz control the position. Bradley can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz controlling the position from side mount. Bradley struggling a bit here. That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz unloads with some shots from mount but Bradley bucks and avoids them well.
Diaz sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diaz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Diaz throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Diaz lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bradley hang on? Bradley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bradley wants to hold on but Diaz pushes him away. Bradley is trying desperately to improve position. Bradley is bucking up trying to escape but Diaz cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Bradley is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Diaz controlling the pace for now. Diaz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bradley is surviving well by controlling Diaz's body position as best he can. Diaz raining down shots from the mount!
Bradley is rocked! Oooooh, big shot lands for Diaz! Bradley is hurt baaadly! Diaz is firing away with more strikes - Bradley is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
