Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hunter Warren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kay Nine!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warren gets caught napping as Nine dives in and scores a takedown. Warren manages to retain guard.
Nine postures up.
Warren is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nine is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Nine wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving.
Warren avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Nine thows a big elbow that misses.
Nine has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nine throws and elbow that misses. Warren uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nine's guard. Nice move by Warren!
Warren prevents Nine from getting back to his feet.
Warren wants to control from the top but Nine keeps moving.
Nine has a closed guard, preventing Warren from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nine being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Hunter Warren wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Warren tries a head kick but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nine looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Warren is fending him off so far but Nine persists. Nope, Warren circles away and we're back to standing.
Warren tries to bum rush Nine with a series of wild strikes but Nine uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nine throws a one two combo.


It looks like Hunter Warren has been cut.
Warren throws a sloppy head kick and Nine moves out of range easily.
Warren throws a head kick that misses.
Nine thuds his right hand into Warren's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nine avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nine lands with a shot to the body.

Nine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Warren did well to prevent Nine getting side control.
Warren is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Warren is looking to get back to full guard here but Nine has managed to pass to side control instead.
Nine scores with punches from side control.
Warren tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nine wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nine looks up at the clock and then as Warren takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nine smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nine taking a breather here.
Nine lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Warren down.
Warren takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Nine lands a decent elbow from side control.
Warren knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nine on the ground.
Warren seems a little lost for a moment, as Nine dominates the positioning.
Nine is putting a hurting on Warren here, landing some big shots from side control.

Nine decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Warren lands a head kick!
Nine thuds his right hand into Warren's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Nine shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nine slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Nine keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Warren's head.
Nine cracks Warren with a solid left hand.
Nine postures up and lands a big shot to Warren's brow.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nine's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Nine works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nine looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Nine has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nine lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.


Hunter Warren's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Nine connects with a massive shot to the dome!


Hunter Warren's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Nine raining down hammerfists from mount.
Warren on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Warren tries to get out of the position.
Nine lands a big elbow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nine scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Warren?


Jeez, Hunter Warren's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hunter Warren's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kay Nine!
