Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Claudomir Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edson Assuncao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dos Santos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to THE FUNKEES - 303. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assuncao keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Assuncao gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dos Santos to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dos Santos trying to control the position from guard on top but Assuncao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dos Santos is really struggling to control Assuncao but he's trying to hold on to the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Dos Santos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Assuncao looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dos Santos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Assuncao has escaped the position, nice work there.
