Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gimly McGimly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel LeBlanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying LeBlanc's choice of entrance music: The Champ by Ghostface Killah. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGimly misses with a double jab.
McGimly tries to clinch there but LeBlanc circles away.
LeBlanc shoots in looking for a takedown. McGimly tries to sprawl out of it but LeBlanc keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGimly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
LeBlanc shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LeBlanc cracks McGimly with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McGimly is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
LeBlanc takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
LeBlanc stands up from mount. Strange move.
LeBlanc stalks McGimly and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McGimly's face. McGimly staggers backwards, shaken.
McGimly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice takedown defense from McGimly. No joy for LeBlanc on that attempt.

LeBlanc has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McGimly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

LeBlanc is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. McGimly defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

McGimly breaks LeBlanc's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

McGimly postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

LeBlanc had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McGimly is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. LeBlanc Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McGimly's back instead.
McGimly rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
LeBlanc is taking a breather. McGimly says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
