The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snotklap lands a slapping body shot.
Visagie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Visagie throws a shot from downtown. Snotklap moves away and avoids it.
Snotklap throws a nice looking combination but Visagie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Snotklap throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Snotklap lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Visagie stalks Snotklap and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Snotklap's face. Snotklap staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Hennie Snotklap has been cut.
Snotklap misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Snotklap tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Visagie was well out of range. Poor timing from Snotklap.
Visagie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snotklap as he avoids it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Snotklap throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Visagie sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Snotklap really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Visagie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Visagie is looking for a sweep. Snotklap is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Visagie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Snotklap is working away from the top position though.
Visagie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Visagie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Visagie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Snotklap to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Snotklap shrugs it off.
