The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acho throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Acho throws a poor cross that misses
and Anker counters with a takedown into side control. Anker tries for a kimura but Acho is defending well. Acho on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Acho tries to get out of the position. Anker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Acho, who protects the arm well. Anker has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Acho is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Anker yanks on the arm and Acho is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Anker.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pete Anker!
