Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Svenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Van Der Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edward Van Der Hoost! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Der Hoost feints and then cracks Svenson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Svenson down. Van Der Hoost throws a body punch but Svenson moves out of range. Svenson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Svenson scores with a body shot.
Van Der Hoost takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Van Der Hoost throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Svenson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Svenson moves out of range of the body kick from Van Der Hoost.
A punch lands to the side of Van Der Hoost 's head but he takes it in his stride. Svenson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Van Der Hoost is trying to defend but Svenson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Svenson controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Svenson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Svenson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Van Der Hoost to get to his feet. Svenson feints a jab promting Van Der Hoost to slip. Svenson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Van Der Hoost slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Svenson scores with a hook to the body. Van Der Hoost takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Van Der Hoost on the wrong end of a nice jab. Svenson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Svenson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Svenson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Van Der Hoost's shoulder. That is not cool. Svenson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Magnus Svenson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Svenson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Svenson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Van Der Hoost's hands. Decent striking displayed by Svenson there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Magnus Svenson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Van Der Hoost is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Svenson. Svenson is looking to land body kicks. Magnus Svenson is winning the standup battle so far. Svenson jabs Van Der Hoost to the body, keeping him at a distance. Svenson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Van Der Hoost is looking to score with low kicks. Van Der Hoost walks into a jab. Van Der Hoost tries to clinch up and Svenson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Van Der Hoost's guard now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Magnus Svenson. Svenson lands with an uppercut that bounces Van Der Hoost off the cage and back into rage. Svenson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Van Der Hoost's head. Svenson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Van Der Hoost moves forwards but Svenson connects with a nice, crisp jab. Svenson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Van Der Hoost on the side of the head. Svenson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Svenson throws a leg kick but Van Der Hoost moved away. Van Der Hoost gets caught napping as Svenson dives in and scores a takedown. Van Der Hoost manages to retain guard. Svenson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Van Der Hoost keeping full guard, as Svenson tries to pass.
Magnus Svenson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Svenson lands a jab. Svenson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Van Der Hoost takes one on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Magnus Svenson dominated that second round. That's time! Svenson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Van Der Hoost is looking to score with low kicks. Van Der Hoost takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Van Der Hoost has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Van Der Hoost there as he acknowledges the shot. Svenson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Svenson checks a low kick from Van Der Hoost. Svenson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Svenson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Svenson controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Svenson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Van Der Hoost can do to turn this around? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Van Der Hoost doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A cross from Svenson lands. Svenson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Edward Van Der Hoost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Svenson dives in and scores a takedown into Van Der Hoost's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Magnus Svenson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Svenson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
