Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Cena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cena comes to the cage accompanied by My time is now. Gonzo has chosen White Rabbit as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Cena or perhaps it was just good defense by Gonzo which made him look bad.
Cena shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gonzo's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Gonzo wants to sweep but no luck.
Gonzo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cena gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cena lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gonzo!
Gonzo is bucking up trying to escape but Cena cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cena can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gonzo is looking to escape.

Cena lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gonzo is in all sorts of trouble here.
Cena throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gonzo because Cena loaded up on that one.

Cena stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

John Cena dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cena displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gonzo.
Gonzo throws a leg kick but Cena moved away.
Gonzo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cena swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cena thows a body shot but no joy.
Gonzo clinches up with Cena and pushes him back against the cage.
Gonzo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cena has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gonzo uses from the top position.

It looks like John Cena has been cut.
Gonzo is taking a breather. Cena says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gonzo connects with a nice short shot to Cena's temple.

Gonzo wants to control but Cena is keeping him busy.
Gonzo is nestled in close to Cena, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Cena is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gonzo lands a big elbow - Cena is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Gonzo!
