The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champ tries for a takedown but Burns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Burns!
It looks like The Champ has been cut.
Champ stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Champ wants it to stay on the feet.
Burns throws a low kick but it's checked well by Champ.
Champ shoots in for a double leg but Burns sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Burns scores with a spinning back kick!
Champ is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Burns throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Champ.
Burns gets in close and tags Champ with a short punch that almost sends Champ to the mat! Oh Champ is in big trouble! He turns his back on Burns, trying to create some distance but Burns rushes him, striking wildly and Champ goes down! The referee tackles Burns into the cage to end the fight! Burns is one violent man!
