Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Faris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Borges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borges clinches.
Borges manages to pull guard.
Faris is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Borges is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Borges has escaped and now he's on top!
Faris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Borges doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Borges manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

and Borges counters with a nice double leg into side control. Faris won't be happy with that.

Well Borges has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
