Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drew Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall has chosen I won't go down without a fight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drew Diaz! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Hall! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Diaz throws a combination. Hall tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Diaz fails to land the takedown. Diaz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Diaz showed some decent athleticism there. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Diaz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Diaz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hall's head. Diaz wants to pass the guard but Hall is defending well. Hall manages to get to full guard.
Diaz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hall is wriggling around but Diaz manages to pass to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz blocks the strikes from Hall.
Hall tries to kick Diaz off but Diaz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Hall manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hall trying to keep a closed guard but Diaz is proving a slippery customer.
Diaz throws a strike but Hall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hall throws a big right hand that misses. Hall in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Diaz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hall on the ground. Diaz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall cracks Diaz with a solid left hand. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Diaz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hall with a nice head shot there. Hall forces his way into half guard. Diaz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hall. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hall tries to stand but can't do so whilst Diaz controls his leg. Diaz is trying to get back to full guard. Hall slips a nice elbow through Diaz's hands, connecting with Diaz's forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hall lands with a punch from half guard. Diaz blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hall. Diaz is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hall connects with a nice short shot to Diaz's temple. Hall scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Diaz is looking to improve his position.
Hall lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Diaz is rocked! Hall scores with a big shot! Diaz's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Diaz! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Hall! Aaron Hall retains his welterweight title!
