Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ice Lander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasser Tiihonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lander's entrance music is Tribute. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiihonen with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lander counters with a head kick. That will keep Tiihonen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
A big right from Lander misses.
Tiihonen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lander finds it's way round the side to connect with Tiihonen's head.
Lander walks into a jab.
Tiihonen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lander circles away.
Tiihonen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lander but Lander pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ice Lander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jasser Tiihonen.
Lander throws a leg kick which misses Tiihonen's front leg but catches the back leg as Tiihonen tries to avoid it.

Tiihonen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lander smiles and moves away.

Lander fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lander uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tiihonen.
Lander cracks a nice hook into Tiihonen's ribs.
Tiihonen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lander jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tiihonen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lander can pounce on him.
Lander throws a sloppy head kick and Tiihonen moves out of range easily.
Tiihonen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lander fails to land with a series of punches.
Tiihonen shoots in for a double leg but Lander sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tiihonen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tiihonen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A nice leg kick lands there from Lander.
Lander swings for the body but Tiihonen moves out of range.
Tiihonen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Nice takedown defense from Lander. No joy for Tiihonen on that attempt.
Tiihonen looks gassed!

Tiihonen blocks a head kick by Lander.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lander, right into the meat.
Tiihonen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lander.
Tiihonen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lander was well out of range. Poor timing from Tiihonen.
Lander connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tiihonen's hands.
Tiihonen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lander lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tiihonen takes a step back to recover.
Lander slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lander lands an overhand right.

Tiihonen is rocked!
Tiihonen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lander.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ice Lander dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lander's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tiihonen under the eye.
