Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Omi Shuai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muse Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shuai comes to the cage accompanied by Xiaolin Showdown. Omi Shuai looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Shuai counters by clinching up.
Long looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Long is trying to break the clinch but Shuai is controlling him.
Long with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Long tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Shuai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shuai closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Shuai decides to stand back up. Shuai steps back and let's Long get back to his feet.

Shuai seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Long for as long as he can get away with.

Long is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Shuai takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Shuai has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Shuai is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Long takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Shuai is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
