The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrjesus has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ferrjesus is trying to force a seperation but Chiba has the dominant position.
Ferrjesus looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Ferrjesus tries to break the clinch but Chiba is controlling the position.
Chiba prevents Ferrjesus from breaking the clinch.
Chiba is trying to force a seperation but Ferrjesus has the dominant position.
Ferrjesus avoids the elbow strike from Chiba, against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Chiba's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Chiba keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ferrjesus's efforts to push away.
Ferrjesus has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ferrjesus tries to pull guard but Chiba holds him up against the cage and eventually Ferrjesus drops back down to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferrjesus tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chiba smiles and moves away.
Chiba explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Ferrjesus shoots for a double leg takedown but Chiba sprawls well. He's pushed Ferrjesus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jiro Chiba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Ferrjesus.
Ferrjesus is looking to clinch.
Chiba dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ferrjesus. That did some damage!
Ferrjesus looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chiba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ferrjesus gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
