Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lindquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindquist comes into the arena with Wacco Will Kick Your Ass blaring out of the sound system. Law has chosen Diablo Blvd by Corrosion Of Conformity as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lindquist quickly recovers to half guard.
Lindquist is looking for a sweep. Law is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Law tries to pass to full mount but Lindquist defends it.
Lindquist is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Law jumps into side control!
Law misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Law lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Lindquist manages to get back to half guard.
Law scoring with strikes to the body and head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lindquist is trying to maintain the position but Law is very close to passing his half guard.
Law seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lindquist does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like Robbie Law has been cut.
Law tries to bum rush Lindquist with a series of wild strikes but Lindquist uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lindquist missing with a left hand there. Law was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Law steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lindquist. That one must have hurt.

Lindquist throws a lazy right hand but Law sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lindquist is looking to slow Law down with leg kicks.
Lindquist connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Law momentarily.
Lindquist lands a nice looking body shot.
Lindquist lands a glancing blow to the side of Law's head.
Lindquist buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lindquist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Law moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lindquist throws a leg kick but Law moved away.
Law tries to clinch but Lindquist is having none of it.
Lindquist tries to score with a low kick but Law moves his leg out of the way.

Law has closed the distance and engaged Lindquist in a clinch.
Law jumps into guard, dragging Lindquist to the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Robert Lindquist will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Law throws a nice looking combination but Lindquist bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lindquist tries to clinch there but Law circles away.
Lindquist throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Law tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lindquist manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Law throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lindquist fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Law is looking to clinch.
Law tries to clinch up.
Lindquist shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Law sprawls well. Law wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lindquist gets slowly back to his feet.
Law dives in and grabs Lindquist's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lindquist pushes down on Law's head and hops out.

Law tries to clinch up.
Lindquist works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Lindquist dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Law. That did some damage!

Lindquist throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Law's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Law stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lindquist.
Lindquist lands a nice looking kick to the body. Law takes a step back to recover.

Law is rocked!
Lindquist cracks Law with a left hook right on the temple and Law goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Lindquist lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Law is OK!
