Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Tosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tosh's entrance music is Big Ass Bear. A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Tosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Maynard!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Maynard looks to land a combination. Tosh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nice sprawl there from Maynard as Tosh shoots in.
Tosh shoots in for a takedown but Maynard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Maynard is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Maynard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tosh.

Tosh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maynard doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tosh.

Tosh is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Maynard has managed to free his arm - good work.

Tosh is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Maynard wants to get back to his feet.

Tosh is trying to control. Maynard wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tosh pushes Maynard off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Tosh will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Maynard tries to bum rush Tosh with a series of wild strikes but Tosh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maynard sizes up Tosh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tosh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maynard swivels and escapes.

Tosh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Tosh has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Maynard defend it? Tosh steps over the head and cranks it - Maynard is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tosh!
