Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sun Quan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Singer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, MC Hammer- U Can't Touch This. Sun Quan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sun Quan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Singer! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quan slaps away a takedown attempt from Singer, before circling back to the center of the mat. Quan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Sun Quan has been cut. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Quan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Singer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Singer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Quan shoots in but no luck this time. Quan misses with a head kick.
Quan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Singer eats them both and turns towards Quan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Sun Quan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Singer. Singer moves out of range of the body kick. Quan moves into range and clinches up with Singer. Singer is trying to drag Quan to the mat but Quan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Sun Quan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Singer. Singer wants to break the clinch but can't.
With the fighters up against the cage, Quan throws an elbow but misses. Quan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Singer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quan tries to avoid it but Singer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quan to the ground. Quan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Quan. Quan misses with a leg kick and Singer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Quan's guard now. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Quan keeping full guard, as Singer tries to pass. Quan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Singer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Quan has a closed guard, preventing Singer from standing up. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Singer looks gassed! Quan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Quan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Singer manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Quan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Quan passes to full mount! Quan thowing shots but they're missing. Quan unloading with bombs! Quan scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Singer?
Singer is rocked! Singer takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Quan's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sun Quan!
