Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Obworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kashmir kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shogun Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Obworth takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Obworth moves out of range as Silva strikes.

Obworth is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Oh Obworth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Obworth seems to have got his legs back now.
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Silva thows a body shot but no joy.

Shogun Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Silva throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Obworth closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Silva scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Obworth takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Silva digs a good hook to Obworth's body.

Obworth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Silva sends Obworth crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Silva is motioning to the referee to let Obworth up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Silva drops Obworth with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Obworth looks back up at him and smiles so Silva waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Silva thuds his shin into the meat of Obworth's side.

Silva cracks Obworth with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Silva has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Obworth to stand back up!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva is looking to slow Obworth down with leg kicks.
A big right from Silva misses.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Obworth.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No joy there for Obworth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Obworth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva scores with a sloppy right hand. Obworth should have avoided that one.
Obworth moves out of range as Silva strikes.
Silva connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Obworth's hands.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva cracks Obworth with a hook to the temple - Obworth is on wobbly legs here! Silva swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Obworth falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Silva wins by TKO!
