Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikel Machida!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida gets caught flat footed, as Cringle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Machida wants to stand and escape but Cringle is having none of it.
Cringle trying to control but Machida is working from the bottom.
Cringle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cringle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cringle is looking to advance position but Machida has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Cringle tries to hold on but Machida pushes him away.
Machida controlling from the full mount.
Machida has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cringle's face.
Cringle is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cringle is looking to escape.
Machida unloading with bombs!
Machida tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cringle can't escape the position.
Machida trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Cringle tries to lock up and control but Machida gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Machida looking to control but Cringle is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Machida putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Cringle tries to lock up and control but Machida gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cringle is working to get back to half guard.
Cringle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machida on the ground.
Cringle is trying to reverse the position but instead Machida has taken his back - oops!
Cringle can't escape the position.
Cringle is taking damage to the body and head.
Machida lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
What can Cringle do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Machida is hanging on to Cringle's back as he tries to escape.
Cringle is breathing heavily.

Machida is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Cringle won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Machida off his unconscious opponent!
