Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Miyaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dan Gable!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryo Miyaguchi!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyaguchi has a takedown stuffed.
Miyaguchi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Gable counters with a low kick, right behind Miyaguchi 's knee.
Gable tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miyaguchi was well out of range. Poor timing from Gable.
The fight stays on the outside here - Miyaguchi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Miyaguchi lands a nice hook to Gable's body. Gable takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gable lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Gable has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Miyaguchi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gable fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Miyaguchi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miyaguchi throws a hook but Gable avoids it easily.

and Gable takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That kick from Gable tenderised Miyaguchi's leg. Miyaguchi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ryo Miyaguchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miyaguchi checks the leg kick nicely there.
A jab lands there for Gable.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gable feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Miyaguchi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gable is trying to control but can't.

Miyaguchi wants to free his trapped foot but Gable is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dan Gable overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Gable will probably get the nod.

Miyaguchi has hold of Gable's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gable manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gable sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

I would just about give that final round to Ryo Miyaguchi.
