The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandana closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bandana lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bandana slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bandana is keen to just control but Pudzianowski is a slippery customer.
Bandana has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pudzianowski wants to hold on but Bandana pushes him away.
Bandana is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pudzianowski has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bandana swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
