Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and River Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greywar has chosen Written in the stars as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Bo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, River Greywar!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo tries for a takedown but Greywar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Greywar goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Greywar scores with a leg kick.
Greywar misses with a low kick.
Bo checks a low kick from Greywar.

Bo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bo showed some decent athleticism there.
Greywar wants to get back to full guard.

Bo seems to be looking for submissions.

Bo prevents Greywar from improving his position.
Greywar wants to sweep but Bo has passed to side control!

Bo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Greywar has escaped the position, nice work there.
Greywar can't do much from the bottom here.

Bo decides to stand back up.
Bo misses with a leg kick.
Greywar throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Greywar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bo!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Greywar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bo's face.
Greywar lands a nice shot to the head.

River Greywar dominated that round.

Bo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Greywar swivels and escapes.
Greywar throws a nice inside leg kick.
Greywar throws a low kick, looking for Bo's leg but Bo calmly moves out of range.
Bo fails with a takedown attempt.
Bo just misses with a punch to the body.
Greywar pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bo is out of range and Greywar settles back down.
Greywar throws a leg kick but Bo sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Greywar counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Bo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Greywar can pounce on him.
Greywar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Greywar wants it to stay on the feet.
Bo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Greywar.

Bo avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Greywar counters with a two punch combo.
Bo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Greywar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Greywar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Greywar lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Greywar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bo circles away quickly and effectively.

Greywar tries to bum rush Bo with a series of wild strikes but Bo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Greywar lands a leg kick that knocks Bo off balance momentarily.
Greywar ducks under a wild hook from Bo.
Greywar wants to land a leg kick but Bo is out of range.
Greywar throws a combination that misses

and Bo counters with a takedown into side control.
Bo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Greywar keeps working.
Greywar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Greywar regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bo's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Greywar tries to get to full guard but Bo has control of the leg.
Bo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Greywar moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but River Greywar will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Bo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Greywar.

Greywar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
River Greywar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That kick from Greywar tenderised Bo's leg. Bo is trying to keep his angry face on.

River Greywar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bo.

Greywar throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Greywar does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Some bone on bone action there as Bo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
River Greywar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Greywar.
Bo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bo throws a hook to the side of Greywar's head but Greywar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bo thows a body shot but no joy.
Greywar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Greywar connects with a leg kick. Bo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Greywar throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bo.
Greywar ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Greywar moves out of range of the strikes.
Greywar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Jim Bo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bo throws a nice outside leg kick.
Greywar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bo eats them both and turns towards Greywar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Greywar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Greywar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bo.

And that's the end of the fight!
River Greywar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Greywar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
