Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luck Chidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlito Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montoya comes into a darkened arena with his song building. call to prayer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chidell lands with a kick to the temple. Montoya shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Nice uppercut there from Montoya.
Chidell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Montoya.

Chidell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Montoya feints and then cracks Chidell's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chidell down.

Chidell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Montoya moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Montoya fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Chidell 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Chidell takes a swing at Montoya's ribcage but misses.
Chidell is looking to wear down Montoya with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Montoya throws a jab when Chidell was well out of range.
Montoya is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Chidell had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Chidell moves in looking to clinch but Montoya pushes him off.
Chidell looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Chidell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chidell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Montoya was well out of range. Poor timing from Chidell.

Montoya throws a series of strikes that have Chidell backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Montoya looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A slapping leg kick lands for Montoya.
Chidell moves to clinch but Montoya breaks away
and Montoya cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Montoya keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Montoya pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chidell back to the cage. Montoya follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A jab from Montoya misses.
Montoya throws a looping overhand right but Chidell ducks down to avoid it.
Chidell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice cross by Montoya.
Montoya swings for the body but Chidell moves out of range.
Chidell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Montoya dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Montoya throws a series of punches but Chidell avoids them all with ease.

Montoya misses with a leg kick.
Chidell has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Montoya can't break the clinch.

Montoya is trying to force a seperation but Chidell has the dominant position.
Montoya looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Montoya dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Montoya looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Montoya catches Chidell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Chidell is looking to clinch but Montoya is avoiding it.
Chidell has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Chidell fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Chidell! Montoya is out on his feet! Chidell rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Montoya is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Montoya is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
