The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Recopa tries to score a power double leg takedown but BeepBoop sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Recopa somewhat.
Recopa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with BeepBoop but BeepBoop pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Recopa doesn't succeed with the takedown
and BeepBoop counters with a low kick, right behind Recopa 's knee.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cicero Recopa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

BeepBoop clinches.
Recopa takes a knee right on the jaw!
Recopa goes for a takedown attempt but BeepBoop pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Recopa blocks the body kick.

BeepBoop connects with a high kick.

Recopa avoids the head kick by BeepBoop.
Recopa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and BeepBoop counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Recopa is breathing heavily.

BeepBoop stuffs the takedown attempt from Recopa. Recopa gets slowly back to his feet.
BeepBoop leaves Recopa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

BeepBoop lands a big head kick that sends Recopa tumbling to the mat! BeepBoop takes a step backwards and waves Recopa back to his feet - he wants the finish!
